The John Paterson Chorus has been asked to sing
at the opening ceremonies for the Relay For Life
in Newington on Friday, May 20th. This is a BIG
honor that they have selected us to sing!
What will we sing??? This year's Relay For Life has
a theme of "Celebrating Life", so we are going to sing
a very famous 'oldie' called "Celebration". Your parents
might remember the song
from when they were growing
up.
The chorus sings at 6:00 P.M.
I ask that chorus members arrive at 5:30 to prepare for
our performance.
Mr. Kemp suggests that you make this a "Family Night"!
There are MANY wonderful booths to visit with great food
and lots to do!

It's a little strange to see how people from 1980 dressed
and wore their hair. They look very different from today's
stars, but in 1980, this look was VERY cool, and this song was
a HUGE success! It was #1 on the song chart for a very long time.
